XSEED Games announced that Potionomics: Masterwork Edition is launching on October 22 for consoles. In particular, it's going to be available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.

This title is now being offered for digital pre-purchase for the Switch on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99. Pre-purchase is also open for the Xbox Series X/S at the same price. No such offer is available for the PlayStation 5. Players on the PC need not worry since XSEED also announced that new content and features are to be released on the platform on the same day for free.

Limited Box Set

XSEED revealed as well that a physical Limited Box Set for the game is also being made available. It's now open for pre-order on all console platforms and priced at $49.99. Pre-order can be made through Marvelous USA Online Store along with participating retailers. It may be a bit expensive but it has a lot of goodies.

That's because aside from the base game, there's also the physical version of the original 120+ page digital artbook which gives an insider’s look at Rafta and its residents. It also has that two-disc soundtrack which features all 58 tracks from the original digital soundtrack plus some never-before-released songs. Finally, it comes with a set of 12 trading cards that showcase brand-new character illustrations.

Potionomics tells the story of Sylvia who suddenly finds herself in the role of being a potion proprietor. She’s now being tasked with carrying on the legacy of her uncle and have to make sure that the potion shop remains afloat. The good news is that she won’t be doing it all since she’s getting help from some new friends. To make her potion shop the number one in Rafta, she’ll need to hone those negotiation skills and of course, outsell her craftiest competitors.

Potionomics is all about perfecting the potion-brewing craft and building the deck of haggling cards to help make the most of each sale to succeed in Rafta’s lively economy, players need to get to know the colorful residents who are more than willing to help in collecting new recipes, elite ingredients, and even new cards for the deck.

You can get Potionomics for the PC via Steam.
