FromSoftware announced that pre-orders for Elden Ring Nightreign are now available. The game is launching on May 30. There are three versions to choose from.
The Standard Edition is priced at $39.99. Then there's the Deluxe Edition which is being offered at $54.99. Aside from the main game, this version comes with an additional DLC along with additional playable characters and bosses. It also includes a digital artbook and mini soundtrack.
Finally, there's the Collector’s Edition which is available for $199.99. It has the full game along with a DLC, which is set to be made available once the main game is released. Other items in the Collector's Edition are the SteelBook, Digital Soundtrack, Statue of Wylder (25 cm), 8 Nighfarers Cards, and a Hard Cover Artbook (40 pages).
It goes without saying that there's a preorder bonus and this is the BOnus Gesture. This exclusive emote can be shared with friends and teammates by using it with them when they join your session.
Elden Ring Nightreign features a multiplayer-focused return to Roundtable Hold. The game itself is set in a parallel universe to that in Elden Ring. It has players choose from a roster of eight unique characters with each one having their own unique abilities along with powerful ultimates.
Players go on a journey that takes them to Limveld. This is an ever-changing map where they have to make those split-second decisions especially when it comes to combat and exploration. They’ll also have to face a night cycle where the map shrinks with the coming Night’s Tide. Then at the end of each night players have to fight against a powerful boss and if they win, move on to face bigger challenges.
Each session ends on the third night when players must face off against the chosen Nightlord. While individuals have the choice to fight the night alone, there is always strength when it comes to numbers. To hurdle these challenges, they’ll need to cooperate and one way is to combine those unique abilities. Even if they fall, not everything is lost. That’s because unsuccessful runs give players relics which let them customize and upgrade their characters tailored to their personal play styles.
Elden Ring Nightreign is available for the PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X/S.
