If you're one of those excited about Dragon's Dogma 2 then maybe it's about time to get ahead of the others. That's because pre-orders are now open not only for the Standard Edition but also for the Deluxe Edition. The game itself is scheduled to be released on March 22, 2024.
For the Deluxe Edition in particular, it has base game and other additional goodies like the Explorer's Camping Kit, 1500 Rift Crystals, and the Dragon's Dogma Music & Sound Collection. Other items included in this edition are Wakestone, Art of Metamorphosis, Harpysnare Smoke Beacons, Ambivalent Rift Incense, Heartfelt Pendant, and Makeshift Gaoil Key.
The Standard Edition is available for $69.99 with the Deluxe Edition offered at $79.99.
A Narrative Driver RPG
Dragon’s Dogma is a single player and narrative driven action-RPG series where players are challenged to choose their own experience. From their appearance to their vocation and even the party. Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the long-awaited sequel and brings people to a deep and explorable fantasy world.
In the game, players are joined by mysterious otherworldly beings known as Pawns in their journey. The adventure is so unique that players get the feeling as if they're being accompanied by other players. All of the different elements are brought to a different level through artificial intelligence, physics technology, and the latest in graphics.
Your Own Way
In Dragon's Dogma 2, there are what's called a vocation. This feature allows players to do combat however they want. There's also a Pawn, which accompanies players on the journey, and can be customized. Players can actually enter into a covenant with a maximum of two extra Pawns form other players in the network.
The World
Beyond the borders of the town, players get to meet a wide range of monsters which inhabit the land. It's not always a battle with players given the chance to find alternative ways. What that means is they'll need to keep in mind the setup of the part along with the terrain around them.
It’s not all monsters since players also get to meet the various inhabitants like travelers, merchants, and soldiers, to name a few. Some of them won’t hesitate to ask for a favor while there are those that hand out a quest.
