Square Enix announced that the Prologue Demo for The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is now live. It offers the opening chapter of the story along with the same freedom of adventure that's available in the full game.
Those able to play the prologue demo would be happy to know that they can bring their save data to the full version. However, the demo version may have content that could be different from the final version of the game. In addition, linked save data bonuses can't be redeemed in the prologue demo.
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales comes from the same team responsible for titles like Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler. This action RPG offers stunning HD-2D visuals and combines it with exciting action-adventure gameplay to have a unique gameplay experience.
The story focuses on the adventurer Elliot and his fairy sidekick Faie. The two go on a journey to find a way to lift the curse on Princess Heuria of Huther. They have to cross through the Doorway of Time to visit different periods in history. The first is Elliot’s home time, which is the Age of Safekeeping. Then there is the Age of Reconstruction, a time when humans managed to eke out a meager existence. Next is the height of prosperity for humanity which is the Age of Magic. Finally, it's the Age of Budding, which is said to be the birth of human civilization.
To defend themselves from the beast tribes that overrun the continent, players need to arm themselves with up to two weapons at a time. Meanwhile, Faie’s fairy magic should prove handy when it comes to clearing both the fiends and puzzles that stand in the way.

It has the base game plus the Digital Deluxe Edition Pack. The pack contains the Fairy Bangle accessory, Cherry Blossom Anklet accessory, and Roselle Ring accessory.
Those who pre-order the game can get Elliot’s Departure Pack. It has items that should give players that edge at the start of the adventure. It has the Departure brooch accessory and Attack up sword magicite. The preorder bonus is valid for purchases up until June 18.
