Attention Summoners! Everyone is invited to an upcoming event in Marvel Contest of Champions. Get ready to take part in the Revenge of Legends.
Revenge of Legends sees the Winter Soldier no longer happy being a punching bag one too many times. As a result, he's managed to gather some of his buddies from Realm of Legends for the Summoner to take on over multiple weeks.
Phase 1 runs from August 12 to September 9 and all players need to do is defeat opponents in the Revenge of Legends Quest or Retribution Side Quest.
Revenge of Legends Quest is an inversion of the Realm of Legends. This one has players face down multiple weeks of punishing fights and challenging Champions. This is to show that that The Summoner is truly the most epic force when it comes to The Battlerealm. The full Quest takes place over several weeks and only in the Final week’s challenge remain after the month is over. What this means is that Summoners need to rush to this Boss Fight if they want to play the full experience.
Meanwhile, Retribution of Legends Side Quest runs for about four weeks. Players face down the hardest challenges The Contest has to offer. However, they're given a slight advantage through custom Nodes.
Phase 2 starts August 26 and runs through September 9. There's going to be Hero Shard Arenas, Arena Solo events, a 7-Hour Login Crystal reward, new Battlepass, exclusive player profile pics, and emotes.
Marvel Contest of Champions invites players to step into The Battlerealm and experience epic 1v1 combat. It features various Super Heroes and Villains from across the Marvel Universe. The game was first released on mobile platforms through iOS and Android. Then in June 2025 it was made available for PC and fully optimized for mouse, keyboard, and controller on the big screen.
Players get to take on the role of a Summoner chosen by The Collector. They assemble a powerful team from a roster of more than 300 Champions. Players can engage in fast-paced battles against enemies and players from around the world. They'll have to master intuitive combat mechanics and release special attacks as they fight across cinematic storylines, competitive arenas, and time-limited events.
