RuneScape Launches New Utility Features

The changes are to help players adapt better to the reimagined player-owned housing.

A new update has been released forRuneScape which reimagines how player-owned housing works in the game. As a way to prepare for the changes, new utility features have been introduced to the game.

One of these is being able to travel with ease by having players create their own travel hub for rune-based teleports. Then there's the Jewelry Box where they can collect teleportation Jewelry. Meanwhile, the Player Owned Ports Access Table let players reach friends with ease.

Players also need to get read when it comes to their next encounter with Potion, Crystal/Combo, and Tea Cauldrons. Each one has their own added benefits. There are also now different ways for players to store with the new storage solutions. With this, they'll never lose track of their most valuable items, collections, equipment, or even pets.

Then there's the skilling support. The introduction of Lecterns, along with Expanded Lecterns, allow for skilling to be taken to another level. There are also the useful tools, crafting stations, and even special furniture that support different activities.

Changes in Construction

As part of the new update, Construction has been reimagined with the introduction of a new progression system, different ways to skill up. In particular, Construction has been expanded to Level 120.

A new furniture crafting system has been added which let players directly craft furniture which can then be used to decorate the home, either through active or passive training styles. Then as players progress, they can unlock new recipes, utility upgrades, new room shapes and layouts, additional customization options, new house styles and decorations, shared community benefits, and prestige rewards.
