Season 3 Episode 2 for The First Descendant Arrives November 5

Nexon announced that the Season 3 Episode 2 update for The First Descendant is launching November 5. The upcoming update comes with a lot of new content that include new main story progression.

In the previous chapter, Alpha was captured by Karel and is now undergoing interrogation. The Descendants now have to head over to Axion Plains and begin the rescue mission.

Special Events

In celebration of the Season 3: Episode 2 update, a new seasonal event is running from November 6 to December 4. It features main story elements and content from the new update. This should give all players a chance to easily participate and complete missions. Rewards available for this special event include Ecive, chest attachment items, and materials that can be used to readjust Ancestors Modules.

There's also going to be a special November login event from November 6 to December 18. This one offers players a variety of rewards including Serena’s Cleaning Service Set. To get the rewards, all players need to do is simply log on.

Supermassive Receptor Dungeon

While enjoying the new story, players can also look forward to an all-new Supermassive Receptor Dungeon. This is available in Hard difficulty and aligned with Axion Plains access rules.

There are different ways to enter the dungeons and it's through the Albion Terminal, the World Map, or via beacons located within Axion. It serves as the primary farming location for the new Descendant along with the ultimate weapon Hive Master. The dungeon offers valuable rewards for those who prevail.

The dungeons have a ferocious new boss which is Pattern Flores and attacks players at the center of the map using powerful lasers. To defeat this boss, players need to quickly recognize the attack pattern. Those who claim the victory can obtain rewards that include new modules. There are also mission-select completions that grant players new External Components.

The First Descendant is a next-generation third-person co-op action RPG looter shooter which features high-quality graphics developed using Unreal Engine 5. In the game, players become a Descendant whose mission is to fight against alien invaders. Players encounter spectacular stories as they grow stronger through various missions and raids to finally discover the Descendants' secret.
