See a Sample of the Lies of P Gameplay in Newly Released Video

A new video has been released for Lies of P which offers a look into the gameplay. In particular, the video lasts just a little under eight minutes and focuses on the Lorenzini Arcade level. It shows those dimly lit corridors, murderous puppets, and even grotesque Carcass Monsters.

The video also focuses on the brutal and relentless horrors that can be found within Krat. It gives players a look at the different enemies that players encounter and the various environments they experience on their journey. You can watch the video below:

Pre-purchase Now

For those already excited about the game, there's better news since pre-purchase of the game is now available. Those who pre-purchase the digital standard edition get to receive the "Mischievous Puppet’s Set" outfit in addition to the base game.

The deluxe edition meanwhile has what's offered in the standard edition along with the "Great Venigni’s Set" outfit, a unique mask, and 72 hours early access to the game. There is also a version edition meanwhile is presented in an exclusive SteelBook tome-inspired collector’s box along a 92-page artbook. Other bonus digital items include the original soundtrack, "The Great Venigni's Set" outfit, and a unique mask to be worn to the festival.

A physical standard edition for the game is also available.

Inspired by Pinocchio

Lies of P is inspired by the story of Pinocchio. It’s an action Souls-like game that’s set in Krat, a dark and Belle Époque-inspired city. This was once a beautiful city which has since become a living nightmare with deadly puppets running amok while a plague sweeps the land. Players take on the role of P, a puppet who has to fight his way across the city as he goes on an adventure to find Geppetto and become a human.

The game offers an elegant world that’s filled with tension along with deep combat and character customization systems. Players can also enjoy a gripping story that has interesting narrative choices where the more lies are told, the more human P becomes.

Lies of P is launching September 19. The standard edition is available for $59.99 while the deluxe edition is priced at $69.99. The game is releasing for the PC through Steam where a free demo is also available. It's also coming out on other platforms that include the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
