White Wolf confirmed that both Lasombra and Toreador clans are going to be available when Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 releases. That means all the six clans are playable for all players.
In a statement, White Wolf Executive Vice President and Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared that feedback from the community revealed that the preference to have Lasombra and Toreador in the base game was high and so that's what they did. He also thanked developer The Chinese Room for the quick turnaround when it came to the "concepts for the post-launch Story Packs."

Pre-order for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is now open. The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99. There's also a Deluxe Edition offered at $69.99. Aside from the base game, this edition comes with the "Santa Monica Memories" Cosmetic Pack. The pack features decor items that are inspired by the original cult classic Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines to adorn Phyre’s in-game apartment.
The Premium Edition is available for $89.99. It has the base game and the "Santa Monica Memories" Cosmetic Pack. It also has the "Shadow & Silk" Clan Pack. This content add-on has players choose the Lasombra or Toreador clans for Phyre. Each clan offers new, unique abilities, playstyles, and distinct outfits.
In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, players get to take on the role of Phyre and choose to be part of one of six clans which are the Brujah, Tremere, Banu Haqim, Ventrue, Lasombra, and Toreador. The choice of clan is important since one of the key features of the game is Feeding. What it does is strengthen the abilities of Phyre which is based on the nature of the clan that's chosen.
Other abilities include Telekinesis, which allow players to distract enemies by lifting and throwing objects. They can also use these to pull enemies closed and deliver the final blow. Heightened Senses meanwhile allows players to see things which others can’t see or even hear.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is coming out in Fall 2024 and to be available for the PC. Wishlist it now on Steam.
