There's good news for fans of League of Legends who are not on the PC. Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story is finally coming to consoles. It's set to be released on the PlayStation and Xbox platforms on January 31.
Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story was developed by Tequila Works and published by Riot Forge. It was released November 2023 and available for the Nintendo Switch along with the PC through GoG, Epic Games Store, and Steam. This single-player story adventure has players dive headfirst into an immersive narrative and set in the undiscovered reaches of the Freljord, a land where each snowy step brings players closer to the truth about Nunu and Willump’s past.
In the game, players get to take on the role of Nunu. Accompanied by his best friend Willump, this young boy is on a quest to find his mother. The two are united by their endless imagination along with the shared love of snowball fights. They'll have to work together and navigate the Freljord.
Freljord is a land that's full of harsh blizzards, ferocious wolves, and enchantment. To make their way across this harsh landscape, the duo is going to do some hiking, climbing, and even sledding. In their journey, they'll meet the powerful League of Legends champions of the Freljord that include Braum, Ornn, Volibear, and Lissandra.
To those not familiar with League of Legends, Nunu and Willump actually functions "as one. The human Nunu is the one that's used to visualize the different abilities and even appears in emotes. Willump meanwhile is a yeti and is the one that answers the movement commands and performs basic attacks.
For the PC version of Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story, the minimum system requirements are:
