A new update has been released for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Legacy Reborn introduces the finale of the Legacy of the Sith storyline.
The story follows Darth Jadus, who has managed to steal Darth Nul’s holocron, which serves as the key to her masterworks involving the Force. He's now on his way to Khar Shian, where Heta Kol and the Hidden Chain have reconstructed Darth Nul’s ultimate machine. Also heading to the Sith moon are Malgus and Shae Vizla, each one having their own goals. It's now time to prepare for the final showdown of Legacy of the Sith.
One of the new features players can look forward to is the final epic confrontation on Khar Shian. That’s because players take the gameplay perspectives of different characters during the final battle.
Technical Updates
In a post, the development team shared that French or German players can play Legacy Reborn with English voices and subtitles in their native language. This should be good news to players in those regions.
Quality of Life Updates
Beginning with the new update, the companion terminal is going to be disabled and all narratively unavailable companions remain available in gameplay under a new tab which is "Ineligible for Story." This includes any companion removed through story progression or through choices.
Other changes include those made to the Intro Mission "Wreckage on Dantooine." It now has cleaner onboarding to content like hazards and even the ability to skip the mission on subsequent plays. There is also a reduction in the requirements for Zone progression. Meanwhile, the Orbital Core encounter is now separated from Wreckage on Dantooine and allows players to complete the story mission without defeating the final boss.
