For those who can remember waking up on a Saturday morning and watching cartoons, then MythForce could be the game for you. It's now available on Steam and invites everyone to a new roguelike adventure about swords and sorcery. In addition to the Standard Edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition is being offered with adds the official soundtrack and art book in addition to the base game.
In the game, players get the chance to be a hero in Saturday morning cartoon that's set in a fantasy world. This is sure to bring back those nostalgic feelings in a game that's easy to play but difficult to master. As a roguelike game, each time players are defeated, they'll need to start again at the beginning. The good news is that each playthrough makes players a little stronger.
In MythForce, players get to wield legendary weapons and use powerful magic to defeat hordes of enemies in a fantasy dungeon-crawl across a colorful cartoon castle. For each new attempt to storm the castle, there are new adventures just waiting. There's the choice to enter the dungeon solo or form a team through co-op mode with at most four players. Just remember that each hero has some unique to bring to the fight.
Speaking of heroes, there are some interesting choices for heroes available in the game. Players can go for the valiant Knight Victoria or the wise Mage Maggie. Waiting to be picked as well as the deadly Hunter Hawkins or the charming Rogue Rico. No matter which member of MythForce they choose, players are the ones that stand between Eldryth and the vampire lord Deadalus.
