Developer ZeroCreation Game announced a new update for The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City's Fall. It adds the Japanese voice over to the game. In celebration of this update, the game is currently offering a limited-time 25% discount.

In a statement, the studio shared that the Japanese voice over features celebrated voice actors that include Yui Ishikawa (Violet Evergarden, Attack on Titan, NieR:Automata) as Su Lianyan, Sora Amamiya (KonoSuba, Tokyo Ghoul) as Lin Pianpian, and Takuya Tsuda as the protagonist Fang Zhiyou.

The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City's Fall invites players to experience a gripping story which features the visceral terror of a siege and combines it with the heartbreaking beauty of a scholar’s lost love, deeply rooted in historical research of the late Ming era. It features an epic and novel-length script as it offers a rich and branching narrative that has dozens of ways to die and multiple main endings. The game also has that profoundly immersive atmosphere with a star-studded Chinese voice cast and an evocative original soundtrack.

The game is set in 1645, which is around the final years of the Ming Dynasty. Players follow Fang Zhiyou, a broken scholar who has lost his memory and sanity after the suicide of his childhood sweetheart. One day he awakens to find himself trapped in the "Lion Camel Kingdom." This demonic nightmare is something that's born from his own writings and the real-life tragedy of the Yangzhou Massacre. In a city where he sees men as beasts, the suicidal scholar finds the will to live by protecting Xiao Yan'er, a little girl who shares the exact appearance and childhood name of his lost love.

One of the key features of The Weeping Swan is the dual-perspective narrative. The first "Record Chapter" where players need to navigate ten days of relentless slaughter as they fight for survival across the streets of fallen Yangzhou. The second is "Memory Chapter" where they journey back through a decade of bittersweet memories and revisit the tender past and fateful bonds forged between scholars and courtesans.
