Studio Changes Title of XXX NIGHTSHIFT to Tangerine Antarctic

Dark Math Games announced big changes for its upcoming title XXX NIGHTSHIFT. The first is that the game is now titled as Tangerine Antarctic. That's not all since the game has also been transformed from isometric gameplay to a 3rd person RPG.

In a statement, founder and Art Director Timo Albert shared that the game is set at the World’s End ski village at Mount Hope, British Antarctica. The title Tangerine Antarctic comes from the name of the in-game hotel. It was designed by renowned Estonian architect Kaur Stőőr. This location is where a lot of the action in the game takes place.

Tangerine Antarctic puts players in the role of a Patrol Op who's on a holiday weekend at the World’s End Ski Resort. However, things have started to go sideways as they're now stranded at the off-season resort with unforgettable guests, wild parties, and mad secrets.

Deep Single-Player

Powerful, finely tuned, and innovative, are just some of the words that describe the game. It's up to the players to decide how the story unfolds and how it ends. They can choose to follow truths or simply slide on the surface of things. The game offers a fresh role-playing system that not only respects the time of the players but can also trust their intelligence. They pretty much get to play a true three-dimensional human being. There are 20 Traces to combine across four categories to shape the character in any way players desire.

Unique Companion Dynamic

Players can find a partner in crime in their investigation. A unique companion dynamic provides them with a lot of paths to solve the crimes. They get to engage in social climbing, soul digging, heart-eating, and more, of course depending on the choices made and luck.
