Studio is Working to Solve Issue on Daily Activities for Throne and Liberty

With the end of 2024 just around the corner, most game development studios are now preparing for what’s releasing for their respective titles in 2025. In Throne and Liberty, the main focus seems to be on engaging content along with combat mechanics.

In a post, Amazon Games revealed that they're tackling important challenges for next year. One of these are the daily activities, which according to player feedback are said to be rather overwhelming. The studio said that while they believe players should have engaging content every time they log in, they also admit that it may have reached a point where it has become more of "a chore than an adventure." As a result, the development team is now looking for the right balance and exploring various solutions to this issue.

The studio went on to say that they're also looking into improving not just the combat system but also those for movement and targeting. While these are indeed important systems, the studio said that these are also "complicated to iterate on." The studio assured everyone that they're working to resolve these issues and are excited to share any updates once they've made something significant.

These are exciting times ahead and hopefully we get to learn new details in the early part of next year.

The Startree Solstice

While waiting for new updates, players can now enjoy the latest limited-time event. The Startree Solstice is now live in Throne and Liberty and to run until January 9.

This event features Snowdrift Island Arena matches which hand out event-specific rewards. Players can also explore festive villages and see the holiday decorations like the Trees of Gratitude. They can also gather those themed cosmetics like the Jolly Arsenal weapons through the Event Pass. Players can exchange their jolly treasure for unique rewards or get Startree Orb Decorations for letters from some of their favorite characters.
