A new demo for Nioh 3 is now available for the PC via Steam and the PlayStation 5. The demo allows players to explore the early stages of the game and at the same time receive an in-game bonus item.
The demo is a good way for players excited to try the game before it officially launches on February 6. It allows players to try solo play and online multiplayer mode. The demo also lets aspiring shoguns come up with their own custom character as they dive headfirst into the turbulent Warring States period. Players can also test their skills in an electrifying boss fight against Jakotsu-baba. By the way, the save data can be carried over to the final game upon release.
But wait, there's more! In a statement, the studio shared that players able to complete the demo by February 15 can receive the in-game bonus item which is the Twin-Snake Helmet.
Pre-Order Now
There’s still time to pre-order Nioh 3. Players can digitally pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition or separately purchase the Season Pass. There’s also the SteelBook Launch Edition available to pre-order and comes with the base game along with two exclusive bonus DLCs.
All versions of the game come with an early purchase bonus which can be redeemed from the PlayStation Store and Steam, available for a limited time after the game releases.
Players can also pre-order a special PlayStation 5 physical edition exclusively through the NIS America Store. The Nioh 3 TREASURE BOX includes the base game, a Scampuss Furball Netsuke Charm Keychain, a Nioh 3 Original Desk Pad, the Official Artbook, and a Nioh 3 Selection Soundtrack CD.
Nioh 3 is the latest addition to the dark samurai action RPG series Nioh. The game tells the story of a deadly struggle that unfolds amidst the devastation of an alternate Warring States period where bandits run rampant and yokai skulk about.
One key feature of the game is an open field which is filled with that sense of tension characteristic of the Nioh series. At the same time, it allows players to explore to their heart's content. In this dark samurai world, players encounter formidable yokai as they explore menacing villages where darkness lurks.
Another interesting feature is that players can enjoy an instantaneous and seamless switch between two combat styles during battle. They can decide to face enemies head-on with Samurai Style or go for quick movements and special techniques with Ninja Style.
