Studio Provides Status of Region Merge in Lost Ark

It's been almost a week since the region merge was conducted in Lost Ark. Since then, a lot of new relationships have been formed along with increased opportunities to adventure across Arkesia.

In a post, the development team revealed that they've been monitoring data and even reviewing player feedback. So far it seems that everything has "been holding up." The team went on to say that they'll be keeping this structure. For now, the team is working on two features for the November update.

The first is Party-Finder, and the Instance is created in the world of the lobby leader. The second is Matchmaking with the plans being:

• A full group of players from the original NA West worlds is going to have an instance created in NA West.

• A full group of players from the original NA East worlds is going to have an instance created in NA East.

In addition, a mixed group of players default to NA East. For players that rely on ping to NA West, like those connecting from Oceania, the team says that they recommend using the party-finder tool to ensure they can find or create a lobby that best meets their needs.

Future Plans

The team revealed that they’re still working on Kazeros. Once all of that is done, they’ll focus on the future of Arkesia. In particular, they’re now preparing the roadmap for 2026 to feature Matt, Henry, and Roxx. More details on this are set to be revealed in December.

The team also shared that they’re working to finalize the content plan for the end of this year along with the next chapter for adventurers. That said, excited for what’s about to come?
