Archetype Entertainment released new gameplay clips for EXODUS to give everyone a peek at what they can expect from this upcoming sci-fi action RPG. This fresh look at the game comes alongside news that even more gameplay is planned to be shown over the coming months. There's even going to be a longer form dive into the game coming in early Summer.
Live Combat Encounter
The first part of the video shows Jun along with Tom and Elise, as they take part in a live combat encounter on the outskirts of Lyonesse. In the game, this is the kind of fight where the difference between survival and being part of the wreckage is not only in positioning but also in relying on companions. In the clip, we get to see Elise let loose with her missile barrage and really feel it. Indeed, early on it's clear that nothing comes easy. Players hold the line because the squad holds it with them.
The Space Tower
After that we're then taken to a space tower in Lyonesse. This part slows things for a bit to show what players can expect a mission to feel like between combat. Traversal in EXODUS has its own rhythm. While players can move quickly, there are times when it's worth pausing and taking in the scale of the world around them.
The Ancient Shrine
Finally, we get to see the ancient shrine on Khonsu. It's a towering architecture which rises overhead and is clearly Celestial in its design. The space opens around players and draws their pace down as they take it in. What waits inside is for them to discover.

EXODUS follows Jun, some who comes from humble beginnings but actually carries the legacy of a revered Traveler dynasty. Hiding under his unassuming origins lies a genetic heritage that gives extraordinary powers and abilities unlike any other human.
Players get to shape Jun’s destiny through moral choices and conflicting agendas that echo across generations. They determine who Jun ultimately becomes through their actions and choices, as the fate of their home planet, and beyond, lies in the balance.
EXODUS offers players freedom when it comes to gameplay style. This allows them to approach challenges through stealth or open combat. Both paths are designed to be equally rewarding and thus empower players to customize their experience. As the story unfolds, players can unlock new weapons and abilities, form bonds with companions, and discover combat synergies that deepen both the gameplay and the storytelling.
