Arc System Works America released a new trailer for Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow. This should offer everyone a peek into the game before it releases September 24.
Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow is set in Tokyo after the World Collapse. The city has become a place where reality is being eroded and grotesque entities known as Anomalies are running rampant. The story focuses on a young man named Soma Hoshigami. While he is working as a part-time courier, he is attacked by an Anomaly. As a result, he is turned into what can be described as "Half-turned" state, a being where human and Anomaly are intermingled. After that he is taken into custody by Rena Hizuki as "Lost Property." Rena serves as an investigator under the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Public Safety Bureau, Foreign Affairs Fifth Division, commonly known as the Public Safety Anomaly Response Division.
In a world that's been corrupted by Anomalies while at the same face the total collapse of reality, players take on the roles of both Rena and Soma. In the game, they go after the demonic drug called "Tiny True" that's been flooding the streets. There are also the "Stigmas," which are patterns carved into the body that are spreading among the youth and eroding their flesh. Finally, they have to go after a mysterious cult who's operating from the shadows. Players fight and strike down powerful enemies in stylish fashion, cutting them away with flair, as they unravel the mystery of the world's transformation.

Timeline Innovation
One of the interesting features that players can look forward to is the timeline innovation. How it works is that the combat interface comes with a dynamic and timeline-driven gauge that exposes the exact timing and nature of incoming enemy attacks. With this, players can program their own skills, shatter the offense of enemies, or ultimately take complete control of the battlefield.
For example, they can slow down time or even pause the action at any moment in order to analyze tactical forecasts, track cooldowns, and execute precise strategies.
Pre-order Open
Pre-order for the game is now open. Pre-order and early purchase bonuses are also now available which include additional skins and extra battles. The packaged version pre-order and digital version early purchase unlocks player access to the "Voidfall" extra battle, three additional skins for each character, and 16 high-difficulty battles at game release.
Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow is releasing September 24 and to be available for the PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store along with consoles PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.
