Studio Reveals Final System Requirements for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2: Heart of Chornobyl

In about a week, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2: Heart of Chornobyl is officially launching for the PC via Steam. The game offers an immersive post-apocalyptic atmosphere which can be experienced through an open-world design.

The game comes out on November 21 and that means there's still time to pre-order. The only downside is, if you can call it that, pre-order for the physical editions is no longer offered

Anyway, in preparation for the release, developer GSC Game World has officially revealed the final system requirements of the game. For the recommended specifications, these are:

  • Resolution: 1440p
  • Target FPS: 60 fps
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-117700 / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti / RTC 4070 / AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
  • RAM: 32GB Dual Channel
  • Storage: SSD - 160 GB
  • OS: Windows 10 x64 / Windows 11 x64

With the game coming out next week, there's still time to pre-order. The standard edition is available for $59.99. The Deluxe Edition meanwhile is being offered at $79.99 and aside from the base game, also comes with these goodies:

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl offers an immersive post-apocalyptic atmosphere which can be experienced through an open-world design. The game takes place in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone which has undergone a dramatic change after a second massive explosion that happened in 2006. Players get to take on the role of a lone stalker and explore the photorealistic seamless open world that the game offers.
