Studio Reveals Four New Enemies Coming to Of Peaks and Tides

There's no official launch date yet for Of Peaks and Tides. However, that hasn't stopped CyancookGames from providing updates on what players can expect. The latest are the four enemies awaiting adventurers and expand both the combat depth and environmental challenges.

The first of the new enemies is the Storm-Winged Tiger Qiongqi. This massive multi-phase boss is inspired by the triple-tailed Storm-Winged Tiger. During the encounter, Qiongqi reshapes the battlefield by generating powerful wind currents and launching players into the air. While at the same time influencing both player abilities and its own skill effects. This enemy has been designed as an environment-driven boss instead of a traditional damage check. The fight challenges players to master movement, positioning, and environmental awareness.

Second is the White Ape Zhuyan. This is a towering elite enemy who wields a colossal tree-trunk club to deliver those devastating blows that punish poor positioning. What makes the encounter truly unique is the highly interactive combat design. Players can shoot, steal, or deflect any physical objects the boss consumes or hurls, which include various fruits, to turn the boss’s own attacks into tactical opportunities.

This is the Scouting Wraith, who's a highly agile elite enemy that shows precision archery and combines it with fast and acrobatic melee combat. Equipped with a war bow and a variety of enchantment effects, this enemy constantly pressures players to adapt their positioning and timing.

Finally, there's the Razor Lizard, who is a deceptively dangerous common enemy. It wields its razor-edged tail as both weapon and escape tool, capable of severing and hurling it at players before fleeing. Its fast, reactive attacks reward awareness and positioning over brute force.

Year of the Horse
