Studio Reveals Platform Target Performance Values for Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds is coming out on February 28, 2025. There's a lot to be excited about in this upcoming title. Today we'll take a quick look at the performance information.

Before that, it was back in November when the Open Beta Test was conducted. Since then, CAPCOM revealed in a post that the team has been busy reviewing the feedback received while at the same time working hard to further improve the quality of the full game in-time for launch day. One of the topics that the community wanted to look at was performance.

Xbox Consoles

For the Xbox Series X, the target performance values for those who want to prioritize graphics are:

• Output Resolutions: 3840 x 2160 / 3072 x 1728

• Frame Rate: 30 fps

Meanwhile, for those who want to prioritize framerate, the target performance values are:

• Output Resolutions: 3840 x 2160 / 1920 x 1080

• Frame Rate: 60fps

For the Xbox Series S, the frame is only at 30fps with the output resolutions being 1920 x 1080.

Steam Version

For the Steam version, the studio shared it depends on hardware and settings. That said the minimum requirements for the PC are:

• OS: Windows 10 (64-bit Required)

• Processor: Intel Core i5-10600 or Intel Core i3-12100F or AMD Ryzen 5 3600

• Memory: 16 GB RAM

• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super(VRAM 6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT(VRAM 6GB)

• DirectX: Version 12

• Network: Broadband Internet connection

• Storage: 140 GB available space

• Additional Notes: SSD required.

For those who wanted a different gameplay experience, the recommended specifications are:

• OS: Windows 10 (64-bit Required)

• Processor: Intel Core i5-11600K or Intel Core i5-12400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or AMD Ryzen 5 5500

• Memory: 16 GB RAM

• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super(VRAM 8GB) or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060(VRAM 8GB) or　AMD Radeon RX 6700XT(VRAM 12GB)

• DirectX: Version 12

• Network: Broadband Internet connection

• Storage: 140 GB available space

• Additional Notes: SSD required
