It hasn't been long since Sultan's Game was released. There has been positive response from the players along with continuous feedback. Double Cross Studio recently shared some details about the work being done for the game.

Quick Execution

There's a total of five core areas being looked into with the first one being Quick Execution. According to the studio, the Quick Execution feature is for repetitive events like Managing the Estate and Court sessions and can be manually turned on and off. Players can enable this feature when it comes to daily events and then skip them during the reward period.

Card Organization

Card Organization is another thing that's being looked into. Once it goes live, it should empower players to assign specific card categories to particular hand slots. IT also allows them to set hotkeys for automatic organization.

Music & Sound Effects

The development team is also working on the Music & Sound Effects. The plan is to fine-tune disruptive sound effects along with musical transitions. There are also more optimizations planned in the future and based on community feedback.

Sensitive Content Warning

Recently, some players now require content to have Sensitive Content Warning. It's not going to be different for Sultan's Game. The team is working on adding new game icons that should help identify choices which lead to sensitive storylines.

It goes without saying that since there are also players that prefer unpredictable fun, this particular feature is going to be added to the game's Setting. What this means is that players can switch the upcoming feature on and off.

Game Save

Finally, there's the manual Save/Load feature that the team is adding to the game.

The team also said over the next few months, they're working to optimize controller and Steam Deck support. There's also plans to introduce a gallery mode to review unlocked endings and cards. Other plans include:

  • adding crowdfunding supporter-designed characters and gears
  • expanding support to the Steam Workshop
  • rolling out new character episodes and epilogues

In a statement, lead Writer Munan LV revealed that there's a lot planned for the future. For now though, the focus is on fixing the ongoing issues and to meet the promises made to the backers of the crowdfunding campaign.
