Studio Says It’s Working on Character Creator for Solasta II

Solasta II was recently released into Early Access on Steam. That said, there's going to be some growing pains and it seems that there are issues on the Character Creator.

In a post, Tactical Adventures revealed that this feature wasn't "working as well" as they'd hoped it would. For example, it seems that the selection of presets is just too limited. To address this, the development is working to add more presets and even spend more time crafting them. The team admitted that they made the assumption that players would customize their character from scratch. They didn't realize that the presets would get the love they deserved.

Another issue is that the Character Creator tool turned out to be a bit overcomplicated. Players get the chance to play around morphing different faces, which is actually fun. However, it seemed that it was rather difficult to get the result they wanted. There are also some options lacking.

Finally, the development team revealed that the Character Creator didn't have enough body shapes. For example, an 18 STR Fighter would end up with the same body shape as a rather sickly 8 CON Wizard. There's also a bug with the male body shape’s chest being awkwardly misplaced.

All of these issues are being worked on by the development team. While they won't be able to specifically say when the changes come out, some of the fixes are planned to be rolled out in the coming weeks.
