Studio Says They’re Releasing Paid DLCs for Monster Hunter Wilds Simultaneously

CAPCOM announced that they'll be simultaneously making several paid DLC items of Monster Hunter Wilds available. However, it may take some time before all the products are available on the story.

The studio shared in a post that, in particular, bundles that include multiple items of paid DLC at a reduced price are going to show up on the store once each item in that bundle is available separately on the store.

Monster Hunter Wilds tells the story of monsters and humans and their struggles to live in harmony in a world of duality. Players get to take on the role of a Hunter who tracks and defeats powerful monsters. They can also forge new weapons and armor from the materials that they harvest during the hunt.

The story focuses on a young boy named Nata who was rescued at the border of the Forbidden Lands. It's an unexplored region the guild has yet to be surveyed. However, after learning about the boy and his lone escape from a mysterious monster that attacked his village, the Guild has decided to organize an expedition into the Forbidden Lands to investigate.

The environments within the Forbidden Lands can drastically change as the weather shifts constantly and suddenly. During the harsh Fallow and perilous Inclemency periods for example, ravenous monsters venture out to hunt in packs. Then during the Plenty periods, wildlife is rich and abundant. Meanwhile, the monsters who inhabit these environments have been forced to adapt to the dynamic changes that occur and now use their unique characteristics to survive and thrive.

As the world around them changes, it's important for the hunters to change along with their tactics. Not only though the hunters have a wide range of weapons and armor to choose from, the art of the hunt itself has evolved as hunters learn to anticipate monsters’ behavior and familiarize themselves with their environment.
