Studio to Remove Early Access Supporter Packs for Path of Exile 2

There's no actual date yet but it could leave the story soon.

Grinding Gear Games announced that they're planning to remove the Early Access Supporter Packs for Path of Exile 2. There's no set date revealed but it's planned to happen in a few weeks.

In a post, the studio said it's been almost two years since the Early Access Supporter Packs came out. Thus, that means "it’s almost time for them to go." The packs are being removed from the store in a few weeks though the good news is that they'll be replaced by a set of five new packs. This means that those who want to upgrade or buy one of the current packs should do so now.

Each Early Access Supporter Pack comes with microtransactions that can be used in both Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2. It also has Path of Exile 2 Early Access keys and points to spend in the store. There are also exclusive in-game microtransactions that's available only through these packs. Meanwhile, higher tiers also come with physical merchandise like T-shirts, hoodies, and a Path of Exile 2 artbook.

Path of Exile 2 is an action RPG that features co-op for up to six players. The game takes place in the land of Wraeclast, a dark continent populated by unique cultures, ancient secrets, and monstrous dangers. A sinister threat that was long thought destroyed seems to have started creeping back on the edge of civilization, driving people mad, and sickening the land with Corruption.

One of the key features of Path of Exile 2 is players get to choose from twelve character classes with two for every combination of Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence. While each of the class variants focuses on a different playstyle, it's pretty much a starting point. That's because players can combine skills from many classes together to create their ideal character build. In addition, each of the twelve character classes has its own three Ascendancy specializations.

Then there's the new Skill Gem System that features 240 Skill Gems which grant devastating active skills and 200 Support Gems that modify their behavior. Players can combine these together to create the perfect build.

Path of Exile 2 is currently in Early Access on Steam.
