Take on a Heist Adventure in Cyber Knights: Flashpoint

Developer Trese Brothers announced that its newest title Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is now out on Steam Early Access. It offers a turn-based strategy RPG combined with a far-future cyberpunk setting. The game is priced at $29.99 but is being offered at a 10% discount for a limited period.

For those not familiar, Trese Brothers is the same studio that brought us Star Traders: Frontiers. This new game offers a cyberpunk heist adventure mixed in with squad-based stealth and deep RPG mechanics. You get to take on the role of a Cyber Knight, an underworld elite having powerful cybernetic spinal implant. You then get to choose and lead a team composed hackers, mercs, and malcontents. The goal is survive this rather dystopian criminal underground of 2231. To do that you'll need to build not only your squad but also your reputation and connections.

Talking about this newest release, studio co-founder Andrew Trese shared in a statement that this game not only plays homage to their roots in tabletop RPGs but also show just how far they are as an independent studio. He added that they're excited to have been able to offer a game with RPG depth combined with turn-based tactics replayability.

Meanwhile, co-founder Cory Trese revealed that when they started on Kickstarter, they wanted to come out with a game built on everything they’re learned as well as have elements of what fans love about their games.

In the game, you get to go on various jobs to build up reputation. However, you’ll need to make sure that you don’t get too much heat. It’s also important to remember that before taking on any heists, you’ll need to work with your network of underworld contacts to pay bribed, trade favors, and pretty much get whatever advantage you need. Planning it important since it can reveal threats and even opportunities.

To defeat enemies, you’ll need to use powerful cyberware, stealth, hacking, and of course, firepower. Make use of extensive talent trees, multiclassing, weapon modding, safehouse upgrades, and evolving traits. With this you can form your very own crew to take on that heist.
