Netmarble has released the teaser trailer for the Solo Leveling: ARISE Championship 2025 (SLC 2025). This is the first official global competition for the game.
SLC 2025 invites players from around the world to show off their skills in the "Battlefield of Time." This is a time attack game mode where players need to clear the designated dungeon as quickly as possible. Netmarble actually hosted two offline competitions in Korea last year. This time though the studio is now expanding the opportunity and making it available to players from around the world. The grand finals for the SLC 2025 is set to take place offline in Korea.

Going back to the new teaser trailer, it showcases the fierce battles and high-energy gameplay from last year’s competitions. It also gives everyone a peek at what to expect for SLC 2025. Netmarble shared that they'll continue to update the official website and forum to ensure that fans of the game are informed about the latest information related to SLC 2025. Time to Level Up
The story begins with Sung Jinwoo, who is an E-Rank hunter, the lowest possible rank. He joins a party who enters what should be a D-Rank gate. However, things take a turn for the worst as there’s actually a “Double Dungeon” hidden inside this low-level gate. Jinwoo is able to narrowly survive and awakens with new rare abilities. In particular, he learns that he has the ability to “level up” by defeating monsters and completing quests.
What makes the game a treat for fans is that it is able to reproduce the original webtoon series in a faithful manner by offering immersive storytelling and fast-paced gameplay. It also features action RPG mechanics along with dynamic combat.
Like the webtoon, players are able to extract the shadows of enemies that they've defeated and then have them fight on their side. With this, they can form their very own Army of Shadows. One thing to remember though is to come up with unique strategies to defeat the magic beasts in each dungeon.
Solo Leveling: ARISE is already available on mobile platforms and set to be released on Steam sometime this year.
