Cryptic Studios announced that the 16th Anniversary Enterprise Starship Bundle is now available on Star Trek Online. This offer comes at a time when the Star Trek franchise is celebrating its 60th Anniversary.
New Starships
The bundle contains a lot of starships. There's the NP Miracle Worker Light Escort [T6], as seen in Star Trek: Enterprise. In addition to being a new ship, it also comes with a new variant which is the Ortiz. The Andorian Kumari Pilot Light Battlecruiser [T6] meanwhile brings with it new variants. The first is the Stalking Makras, a human-owned variant of the Kumari seen in the bundle trailer. Then there's the Talas, a 25th century STO-era variant, along with Talas (Andorian), a Talas variant but without Starfleet markings.
The other starships are:
- NV Multi-Mission Temporal Cruiser [T6]
- Suurok Intel Science Destroyer [T6]
- NX Escort Refit [T6]
- NX Light Escort [T1]
- Xindi-Primate Ateleth Dreadnought Cruiser
New Weapons
The bundle also has new weapons with the first one being the MACO Phase Pistol (c. 2154). This pistol was designed to fire blue phase pulses instead of the usual beams that Starfleet personnel are used to. As a result of its pulse firing mechanism, this weapon features a faster fire rate compared to regular phasers at the cost of some damage. The phaser ground weapons have a chance to stun targets.
Second is the Andorian Split Beam Plasma Rifle. It comes with a secondary fire mode that shoots a high-powered beam that hits up to three targets in front of players in a narrow arc, but at long range. The Andorian Plasma Rifle only has one setting and that is the Kill Setting.
New Suit
Players can also get their hands on the Enterprise EV Suit. This environmental suit lets players survive in extremely hostile environments such as the vacuum of space or extremely hot or cold worlds.
The bundle is available for 16000 Zen. However, it's currently being offered at a discounted price of 12,000 Zen until April 14. Read more about the new bundle here.
