The third class DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is finally out. It introduces a new class with the Alpha Primus Skitarius. This is a rebuilt Skitarri that has the divine augments of the Adeptus Mechanicus placed on them.
The Skitarius Alpha Primus is armed with the deadly Adeptus Mechanicus weapons. It allows them to rip enemies apart with melee weapons like the Mechanicus Power Sword, the Paired Transonic Blades or the Arc Maul. Meanwhile, they also have access to ranged that include the Arc Rifle and the Mechanicus Phosphor Blast Pistol. There is even the option to assassinate enemies with precision through the Galvanic Rifle.
For the Skitarii, players get a wide range of options on how they can customize the talent tree. What makes this one different is that it's the first Talent Tree which starts from the center and then expands the build in any direction. Players have access to more nodes compared to any previous Class.
Combat Abilities
The Abilities of the Skitarii are powered by their Motive Engine. It gives them 3 Base Charges with abilities needing at least 1 Charge to be activated. They can spend up to 3 charges.
The first ability is the Voltaic Expander which lets them release an Electric Discharge around them. Then enemies within 6m are Electrocuted for 2s, Stunning them and dealing damage. The second is the Voltaic Emitter, an improved version of Voltaic Expander. The third is the Chordclaw Strike, a Powerful Heavy Melee Attack using a Chordclaw. This attack has a Guaranteed Critical Strike along with +50% Rending.

The DLC is available for $11.99. A Deluxe Edition is also offered at $18.99. In addition to the new class, it also has the Deluxe Class Outfit, Unique Deluxe Servo Skull skin, 6 Deluxe Weapon Skins, and Deluxe Portrait Frame.
