The Apocalypse Raid-Subject Theta to be Removed in Mabinogi

A new update is planned to be released in Mabinogi this November. There's going to be a lot of significant changes to be introduced to the game. One of the big changes is the removal of the Apocalypse Raid-Subject Theta.

In a post, Nexon revealed that because of the changes introduced in the game over the last few years, this dungeon no longer aligns with the recent balance direction and the structural changes planned to be added through the upcoming New Rise update. The studio shared that they're asking for understanding since the "content no longer fits the current game environment."

The removal of the dungeon means that some features are to be deleted. These include the Shepherd of Lost Souls Journal Achievement (worth 10 points), An Urgent Request Quest, and Techniques (Guardian Impulse, Dynamis Rush, Steadfast Blessing). In addition, there are items that can no longer be earned like Subject Theta Enchant Fragments, Subject Theta 2nd Title Fragments, and Subject Theta Bag Fragments.

The studio went on to say while the sources for getting the items are being removed, the items themselves won't be deleted. Players who continue to want them can hold on to them. Meanwhile, those who no longer need them can discard the items through the [Destroy] function.
