Atlus announced that its upcoming fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio is launching this October 11. The game has for its director none other than Katsura Hashino, who is known for other titles like Persona 3, Persona 4, Persona 5, and Shin Megami Tensei III – Nocturne.
In the game, players get to go on a journey with their fairy companion named Gallica as they try to lift the curse from the kingdom’s lost prince. One of the key features of the game are the "Archetype" powers, which when awakened allow players to unlock the power to channel and combine the abilities of unique job classes.
Pre-Order
Pre-order of the game is now open and those who do can obtain the Archetype EXP Chest Set which contains 10x Hero's Incenses (Increases Archetype Experiences by 100) and 5x Hero's Fruits (Increases Archetype Experiences by 500). Players can also get the Adventurer’s Journey Pack which contains:
- 30,000 Reeve (In-game currency)
- 5x Expensive Medicines (Restores 200 HP to one ally)
- 5x Revival Medicines (Revives an ally)
- 3x Magical Breads (Gradually recover MP while in dungeon)
- 2x Stale Blackbreads (Deals 300 Almighty damage to one enemy)
Collector's Edition
In addition to the physical standard edition, players can but the Collector's Edition which not only has the base game but also the Steelbook, Soundtrack, Artbook, Homo Tenta Metallic Pins, Sticker Sheet, and Kingdom of Euchronia Cloth Map. It also includes Atlus 35th Anniversary Digital History Book and Atlus 35th Anniversary Digital Soundtrack.
