A new update has been released for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. It introduces none other than the Boar's Sin of Gluttony becoming part of the roster. Get ready to meet the greatest sorcerer in Britannia, Merlin.
Merlin is known for having vast knowledge as she seeks endlessly for the truth. She joins the roster as a versatile battlemage able to use a Grimoire, Wand, and Staff, as weapons. Depending on what weapon has been selected, players get to experience different combat styles. For example, if they decide to go for a Grimoire, it allows Merlin to become a main damage dealer that makes use of the Frost Mark effect. Meanwhile, using the Staff lets her summon clones to Buster skills more reliably.
To celebrate the arrival of Merlin to The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, various events have been launched to give players the chance to obtain rewards like her exclusive Grimoire "Sacred Treasure: Morning Star Aldan."
Check-in Events
There's also a check-in event launched where players can earn rewards simply by logging in. These include Special Mastery EXP, Hero Pick Up Draw Tickets, and Brilliant Engraving Seal. The check-in event also offers 100 Star Fragments every day for 14 days, that means a total of as much as 1,400 Star Fragments.
Other New Content
The new update expands the main story by adding Act 14, titled as "The Snare of Time." This one has players follow clues from My Sweet Gluttony to explore desert ruins and uncover the secrets of Taranis waiting at the end of the journey. Meanwhile, there's also a new region called "Sealed Sanctuary." This mysterious ruin is hidden behind fierce sandstorms and introduces seven new gathering materials that enriches the open-world exploration even further.
Other new content include the new "Taranis’s Sanctuary" raid dungeon. It expands Timespace Junction to Sectors 5 and 6 and brings with it two new hidden pets and new crafting recipes.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is based on the popular Japanese manga and anime The Seven Deadly Sins. The game follows the success of The Seven Deadly Sins: GRAND CROSS and was developed by the same team. It features a multiverse storyline which is original to the game. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin give players the chance to experience an expansive open world across the continent of Britannia where they can collect heroes from The Seven Deadly Sins and Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Players can customize their combat style and shape their adventure.
