The Charming Mutant and Queen of the Hellish Limbo Joins the Fight in Marvel Contest of Champions

Every March we celebrate International Women’s Day and Marvel Contest of Champions is introducing super women to the roster. The first is none other than the charming mutant Pixie with the second one being the Queen of the hellish Limbo Madelyne Pryor.

The Charming Mutant

Megan Gwynn has the ability to share charming Pixie-Dust hallucinations that include pink unicorns and rainbows. While she may have that sparkling personality, Pixie can actually access dark magic through her powerful soul dagger. This makes her a truly strong contender in the Contest. She joins the roster on March 12.

Queen of Limbo

Madelyne Pryor is currently the ruler of the hellish dimension known as Limbo and dubbed as the Goblin Queen. After experiencing trauma in her turbulent past, Madelyne takes no prisoners with her powerful scythe and summoning abilities. She arrives on the roster on March 26.

Manic Pixie Dream Goblin

The Manic Pixie Dream Goblin event is now live in the game and has Pixie helping clear up a mystical mess. She’s actually recruited by the Sorcerer Supreme, a student of the time-displaced Dr. Strange. She’s been asked to sort out some malevolent magic and lurking invaders from Limbo. What this means is that players need to fight friend and foe alike as they battle back the minions and menace of the mighty monarch Madelyne Pryor. The event runs from March 4 to April 1.

Marvel Contest of Champions invites players to step into The Battlerealm and experience epic 1v1 combat. It features various Super Heroes and Villains from across the Marvel Universe. The game was first released on mobile platforms through iOS and Android. Then in June 2025, Marvel Contest of Champions was made available for PC and fully optimized for mouse, keyboard, and controller on the big screen.

Players get to take on the role of a Summoner chosen by The Collector. They assemble a powerful team from a roster of more than 300 Champions. Players can engage in fast-paced battles against enemies and players from around the world. They'll have to master intuitive combat mechanics and release special attacks as they fight across cinematic storylines, competitive arenas, and time-limited events.
