The latest update for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online is now out. Patch 7.21 takes players to the stars with Cosmic Exploration. It features large-scale gameplay for Disciples of the Hand and Land.
As exploration progresses, the appearance of the base camp changes with new areas unlocked and a variety of rewards can be obtained. The first goal is to establish a base upon the Source's moon in a location called Sinus Ardorum. Players can travel to Sinus Ardorum at any time by speaking with Drivingway in Mare Lamentorum.
Those who complete stellar missions can see their progress increase. Once the progress gauge has been filled and the respective project completed, cosmic exploration then proceeds to the next stage. As cosmic exploration proceeds, new types of stellar missions are added alongside different facilities.
