It's time to prepare and welcome another fan-favorite creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Get ready for the Concavenator as it arrives at the game on August 26. Also known as the dune daredevil, it's fast, agile, and more than ready to steal the spotlight.
Beneath the sands, the Concavenator is able to turn the desert into its playground. It swims across the dunes with astonishing speed and then launches itself skyward in spectacular aerial tricks to obtain that much needed advantage against its prey. When alone, it's pretty much an elusive nuisance. However, when it's in a coordinate pack, the result is a nightmare since the pack circles the prey and kicks up choking clouds of sand. It then strikes from unexpected angles.
Whether gliding through the shifting sands or commanding a pack of high-flyers, players are sure to see that the creature demonstrates that finesse and coordination are just as lethal as raw strength.
Summer Bash 2026
The end of July is just around the corner. However, it means there's still to beat the heat and enjoy the Summer Bash 2026. The event started July 17 and end on August 5. Check out the complete details here.
Conquest Servers
Developer Studio Wildcard also provided updates on Conquests servers. Conquest is all about large-scale PvP which offer, among others, increased rates. The increased rates allow tribes to set up and establish themselves quickly and enable them to rebuild after potential losses instead of being wiped completely.
For Season 8, there's going to be a total of 18 maps available in Conquest servers. Cluster A has 12 servers that had transfers enabled with Classic before they shut down. Meanwhile, Cluster B features 6 servers with transfers only enabled between those 6 servers for 2 weeks. Transfers between Cluster A and Cluster B opened back on July 17.
Conquest servers have 5x Rates and comes with Tek enabled with the exception of:
- Tek Grenade
- Tapejara Tek Saddle
- Megalodon Tek Saddle
- Rock Drake Tek Saddle
- Mosasur Tek Saddle
- Tek Railgun
The official Conquest servers are open for PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
