The Elderwood Expansion Has Arrived in Palia

The Elderwood is now open in Palia. This is a new Adventure Zone that's just teeming with magic and mystery.

The Elderwood is a lush and overgrown forest which is filled with magic. This is a place that was inhabited once by a different subrace of Majiri known as the Umbraa. While all players can get access immediately, it is recommended that they should have Fine Tools. In addition, players should have at least completed the Temples Questline until "Rooted in Place," especially for those who plan to dive deep into the map.

The entrance to the Elderwood is located in the northern part of Bahari. It should be between Tamala’s house and the Housing Plot gate.

The Stables

One new feature that the expansion features is the requirement to find the Stables. This is needed to unlock travel to those locations. Those able to find the Elderwood Central Stables can use Stables across the world to travel directly to the Elderwood. Those who can find all the Elderwood Stables locations receive rewards from Nai’o, which is a recipe to craft their very own stable sign at their housing plot.

A New Update

Elderwood introduces a new chapter to the game's Main Story and even a whole batch of side quests. Players who are all caught up with the Main Story get to see things kickoff immediately when once login with the Elderwood Opening Cinematic. It's important to remember that some of the new systems in Elderwood need Main Story progression so players should get caught up.

As the Main Story progresses in the Elderwood, players get to unlock different elements of Elderwood’s gameplay. In addition, as they explore the Elderwood they'll come across different Guide and Discovery Quests that expand on the history of this map and introduce various new mechanics. As a way of helping players uncover these quests, some are going to be marked directly on the map.
