The latest update for The First Descendant has arrived. It introduces a lot of new and exciting content. One of these is the addition of the new Descendant Nell to the roster.
The Executive Officer Nell possesses exceptional intelligence along with sharp instincts. Making her dangerous is that she can combine these two and give rapid and tactical predictions. She has that intense drive to make sure that things get done. It is because of this that it makes her sometimes come off a bit scary.
Her passive ability is known as Suspicion & Insight. How it works is that when using an Ecive, it applies the Ecive Scan to enemies, granting buffs and effects.
Her first skill is Breach Discharge which allows her to fire a piercing projectile forward and deal extra damage to enemies marked with Scan. The Ring of Breach skill meanwhile creates a Breach that debuffs enemies in front. The longer it lasts, the stronger the debuff becomes. Reactivating the skill retrieves the Breach and triggers an explosive blast.
The third one is Gravitic Reversal. This skill can only be used while a Breach from Skill 2 is active. It consumes the Breach to pull in nearby enemies and deal damage. Finally, there's Gaze of the Abyss which gives buffs to allies and makes all of Nell's attacks count as Weak Point hits. Hitting a scanned enemy with Skill 1 while Skill 4 is active extends the duration.
Transcendent Module
Nell has two Transcendent Modules. The first is Restored Heart which converts the Breach's effect from a debuff to a buff. It provides shield-related buffs to allies which lower their skill cooldowns when the Breach is retrieved while at the same time boosting Weak Point damage for allies near the Breach. It pretty much functions as a buffer to support gun-type DPS teammates.
The second is Shattered Heart. What it does is alter Skills 1 and 4. Skill 4 fires multiple projectiles to deal damage with Skill 1 reducing the cooldown of Skill 4 and stacks its projectile count when hitting a marked enemy. The best way to describe it is that it builds up with Skill 1 and finishes with Skill 4.
