The Fight in Rimeria Begins with Latest Update for Lost Ark

A new update in Lost Ark is now live and launches Assault: Rimeria. It sees the emergence of abyssal beasts in Shae. They're threatening to engulf Rimeria in darkness and transform the atmosphere of the city into something that's much more ruinous.

The event runs for a total of nine weeks. During this period, players can fight the threat by joining the 1-4 player dungeon "Assault: Crimson Abyss, Narhash" and the 8-player endgame raid "Assault: Flame of Destruction, Tarkal." Both are available in Normal and Hard difficulties.

Assault: Crimson Abyss, Narhash

This is a standard dungeon that supports solo or party play. Monster difficulty scales based on the number of party members. The entry item level for Normal is over 1660 with Hard at over 1700. Players can earn rewards once per week per character. Upon clear, players earn Medals of Protection, which can be exchanged for various items in the event shop.

Assault: Flame of Destruction, Tarkal

This content requires a full party of eight. The entry item level for Normal is over 1680 and Hard with over 1720. Entry limit is one entry per week per character. This is classified as Tier 4 Endgame Content and shares entry and bonus reward limits with other endgame raids.

Accessing the Assault

To access the content, players can do it through the "Assault Raid" object located in Shae or by using the "Assault Raid" button on the Kazeros War Board. However, to challenge Assault: Rimeria, they need to have completed the Rimeria world quest "Ongoing Mission" and meet the item level requirements per difficulty. The raids provide event currency which can then be exchanged for special rewards. Those able to defeat Tarkal get to earn a Dawn Defender's Chest. The chest gives even more rewards like a Random Relic Engraving Pouch after a Hard mode clear.

Also during the event, Shae, the main city in Rimeria, is going to be changed to visually reflect the ongoing events. This change applies only to characters who have completed all Rimeria continent world quests.
