The First DLC for Digimon Story Time Stranger Arrives this Winter

Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced that it;s releasing the first post-launch update for Digimon Story Time Stranger. Get ready for the Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension, which arrives this Winter.

This is the first DLC for the game to be made available. It offers new content which allow new Digivolution routes for Mega Digimon that include BlitzGreymon, CresGarurumon, Omnimon Zwart Defeat and Omnimon Alter-B. It also features a special questline which weaves together encounters across time and space.

According to the studio, the DLC is available to players who had previously bought the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions of the game. There’s also the option to purchase it separately or through the Season Pass.

Digimon Story Time Stranger was released October 3 and available for the PC via Steam along with consoles PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S. A free demo of the game is available on all platforms and gives players the chance to experience the opening chapter of the game.

The Perfect Entry

The game has been designed to serve as the perfect entry point to the series since it offers multiple settings for both the human and digital worlds. As players work with Digimon in battle, they not only forge bonds but also evolve abilities. They also have to take on a journey between the two worlds, even sometimes even across time.

Players can also look forward to taming and recruiting the hundreds of Digimon they can discover along their journey. They can train them and tap into each of their unique abilities to fight. This is not a surprise since it serves as the core to the Digimon experience song with being an essential element to the game.

Customizing Digimon

One unique element to the game is how players can customize and develop strong bonds with Digimon. This helps in achieving that much needed victory in strategic and turn-based combat where players fight against various enemies.

Aside from what’s already mentioned, Digimon Story Time Stranger offers an intriguing story and setting along with memorable characters that include more than 450 Digimon with unique abilities for players to discover.
