It hasn't been long since That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles was released. However, Bandai Namco appears to be going all out with the release of the game's first ever DLC. Titled as "A Strange Fate," it invites players to go on a new journey to find Hinata.
This is the first of three DLCs being planned for release. There's also going to be additional content to be added to the game this September. The DLC packs can be purchased individually with players who own the Digital Deluxe Edition or the Season Pass getting immediate access to them. A Strange Fate DLC is priced at $6.99.
DLC Content
For this new DLC, players get to control Sumire rather than Rimuru. They get to learn more abut Sumire and Hinata through the new scenario. Players can also look forward to taking on ten new sub-quests which include Robot Action Figure, Legendary Sword, The Safe, Zegion's Gift, Whiskey, City of Nature, Trading Card Game 3, Idol Concert, Motor Car, Clock Tower.
There are also seven new building types and these are the 3-Star Luxury Restaurant, Super Rimuloo, Dryad Flower Shop, Chateau Rimuru, Swords of Tempest, Tempest Museum, Tempest Herbs.
A New Adventure
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles offers players with an immersive RPG experience which features characters from the beloved animated series. At its core, the game is all about action-filled battles and strategic combo attacks. There’s also character development that sees leveling up bonds with friends has Rimuru obtain Special Attacks, with allies joining to support Rimuru’s assault.
In addition to enjoying original series memories like the Kijin encounter and Falmuth Kingdom Battle, players can also enjoy two fresh adventures to navigate which are Goblin’s Revenge Arc and Religious Nation Arc.
Another aspect to the game is the City Building feature. This one has players turn their modest village into a flourishing nation where there are numerous building possibilities. Players can also look forward to a unique feature called as Tempest Resonance. This one further increases the strength of residents as the village grows. By the way, the addition of modern and Japanese-style buildings serves not only as a nod to Rimuru’s past life but also gives the game that unique touch to the setting.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch. It's also out for the PC via Steam.
