FromSoftware announced that a new abomination is ready to make its presence felt in Elden Ring Nightreign. The Dreglord is one of the game's new final bosses and set to arrive in The Forsaken Hollows DLC. This DLC releases on December 4.
The thing is, the Dreglord isn't the only thing that players have to face. That's because once the DLC goes live, there's going to be new field bosses. The good news is that two new Nightfarers are more than ready to join the fight and bring with them new abilities to take on the Night’s Tide. Players can also look forward to a new Shifting Earth. This is a special condition where they can see massive geographical changes on the map.

Elden Ring Nightreign is set in a universe parallel to the events happening in Elden Ring. In the game, players get to choose from a roster of eight characters with each one having their own abilities and bringing with them powerful Ultimates.
The adventure takes players to Limveld, which has an ever-changing environment and is a place where they need to make split-second decisions especially when it comes to combat. They’ll also have to face a night cycle that shrinks the map with the coming Night’s Tide. At the end of each night, players face a powerful boss and if they win, get the chance to face even bigger challenges. Each session culminates in the third night where players need to fight against the chosen Nightlord. Players can choose to fight the night alone though there is strength when it comes to numbers.
Nightfarers also need to find a way to work with each other especially if they want to complete the challenges. They can combine their unique abilities together to get that unparalleled experience. If they’re not successful, there’s no need to worry. This is because unsuccessful runs give players relics which let them customize and upgrade their characters tailored to their personal play styles.
Elden Ring Nightreign is a condensed action RPG where players never experience the same journey twice. That’s because the enemies, rewards, and even Limveld itself are ever-shifting and evolving with each new session. Each session-based adventure is similar to playing through an open-air dungeon since each journey provides players the chance to grow lasting stat bonuses. Successful runs against the night bring players ever closer to defeating the Nightlord and learning more about the story behind each Nightfarer in this parallel world.
