The final Eidol chase is almost here. Kabam announced that the Founder’s War Saga is coming soon to Marvel Contest of Champions. It’s set to begin October 8 and to run until January 7, 2026.
This upcoming event sees the beginning of an eternal midnight and marks as the first sign of the approaching dangers. Imperiosa is arriving and the fate of the Founders, Eidols, and Battlerealm itself shall be revealed. Check out the new trailer that features Imperiosa here.
By the way, throughout the Founders’ War Saga, players can obtain “Invade Essence” in order to acquire Imperiosa.
The Beginning
It was a while back when the studio introduced new original characters to the game known as Eidols. Each one was central to the new “Founders” storyline and dives into the powerful characters who are behind the history of The Battlerealm.
It was the artificial lifeform known as Isophyne who arrived first. Then the assassin Lumatrix followed.Then it was the Wolf of the Stars Solvarch. Then finally, it’s Imperiosa’s turn to arrive. What makes it challenging is that Imperiosa is the pinnacle of Eidol creation and has the combined genius of every Founder who ever lived. The chase for Imperiosa actually started September 17 and end December 7.
Bonus Saga
Starting October 8 and until January 21, players have the chance to collect Minion crystals and then progress in the Foundation and Empire solo event by opening them. The crystals unlock 18 new minion Champions and a chance to acquire a 7-star Spider-Man (Stealth Suit).
Marvel Contest of Champions invites players to step into The Battlerealm and experience epic 1v1 combat. It features various Super Heroes and Villains from across the Marvel Universe. The game was first released on mobile platforms through iOS and Android. Then in June 2025 it was made available for PC and fully optimized for mouse, keyboard, and controller on the big screen.
Players get to take on the role of a Summoner chosen by The Collector. They assemble a powerful team from a roster of more than 300 Champions. Players can engage in fast-paced battles against enemies and players from around the world. They'll have to master intuitive combat mechanics and release special attacks as they fight across cinematic storylines, competitive arenas, and time-limited events.
