Looks like Tencent is at it again and this time it’s a3D action-fighting game that features a cinematic animation style. The Hidden Ones is coming out in 2025 and to be available for the PC with one of the platforms being Steam. It’s being released on mobile.
The game is based on the hit manga and anime titled “Hitori No Shita: The Outcast.” It’s set in a mythical world that’s rooted in ancient Eastern myths while also having philosophies like Taoism and Yin Yang. Players get to use unique skill sets and develop their abilities as they engage in exciting, strategic, and action-packed battles. It features Eastern martial arts combat and this is showcased through artistic expression. The game offers a visually stunning and captivating gaming experience.
In the game, players get to focus on the identities of the Outcasts as ordinary people and immerse themselves in a cinematic story set in the world of modern martial arts. They get to build on the Chinese superpower lore of the original franchise.
Three Game Modes
The game offers three modes with the first one being Story Mode. Here the different boss mechanics and designs are reflected in the different chapters of the mythical martial arts story. Players can experience the cinematic-style cutscenes along with the beautifully designed levels that’s sure to immerse them in the action.
Another is the “Duel Mode” where players are invited to participate in high-intensity battles and need to adapt in the blink of an eye. By integrating other characters' skills into the action roulette, they can get that much needed game-changing advantage.
Finally there is the “Trial Mode” where they have to defeat all the epic bosses that emerge throughout the story mode. The bosses grow stronger with each fight and that means players have to master different characters and battle styles to get the win.
