The first major content update for Stygian: Outer Gods is finally here. It's titled as "Souls of the Silent Tide" and opens up the House of Mists and the surrounding Blood Forest area.
This new area is actually a ghastly ritual site of the head witch Agata. However, there's a secret surprise for the most diligent and perseverant of explorers. The locales are brought to life with new intriguing characters and deadly enemies. There are old ones that return with new tricks along with new challenging puzzles and quests.
Here's an overview of what's new in the game courtesy of the new update:

Stygian: Outer Gods has also been localised with subtitles for players around the world. New languages that include French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Russian and Japanese. Check out the complete patch notes here.

Developer Misterial Games announced in a statement that the game is being offered at a discount. It's available for $15.99 until August 29. This is a good time to buy the game since once the sale ends, the price goes up to $24.99.
Fans should also be happy that the Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones is being offered at 80% off for the same period.
