Get ready to unleash the wild within as The Last of the Druids is launching in Path of Exile 2 on December 12. There's new Ascendancy Classes for everyone to experience and even a new Pinnacle endgame boss.
The Druid is a shape changing elemental spellcaster. With the use of a new type of weapon known as sacred Talismans, the Druid can call upon the power of Draiocht to transform into an animal. In his human form, the Druid wields magical staves to channel the powers of the earth and the natural world. As a spellcaster, the Druid can also take advantage of a new Spell Totem skill, which creates a totem that automatically casts any chosen spell for a time.
Animal Forms
The Druid has three animal forms. As a wolf, they can channel the energy of the Moon into a flurry of ferocious attacks. Being fast and agile, it can leap forward to freeze enemies and rake them with vicious slashes. As a true alpha, the wolf can also summon a pack of minions to fight alongside it.
As a bear, the Druid can rampage across enemies and leave devastation in its wake. By demolishing hordes of monsters, the bear builds up Rage that empowers its attacks and roars, ultimately turning it into a walking calamity. Finally, there's the Wyvern. This one empowers itself by eating the freshly dead as it calls down lightning explosions and spits balls of fire.
Ascendancy Classes
The Druid has two Ascendancy Classes. The first is the Shaman which can channel nature's fury. He can harness Rage to empower his Spells and become a walking natural disaster raining down Meteors, Lightning, and Ice. Second is the Oracle, one who has perfected the power of Foresight. By using it in combat, they can obtain a massive advantage by peering into the future to predict a monster's movements and even allocate passives from alternate timelines.
Path of Exile 2 is a free-to-play Action RPG that features co-op for up to six players. The game takes place in the land of Wraeclast, a dark continent which is populated by unique cultures, ancient secrets, and monstrous dangers. Check out more details of Path of Exile 2 on Steam.
