A new Community Challenge is now live in Dune: Awakening. Secrets of the Water Shippers has players run through The Old Quarry Testing Station and Landsraad Missions on Wind Pass. This limited-time challenge runs from May 22 to June 1.
The Old Quarry
The objective is to reach community milestones and earn rewards. For the first milestone, players need to complete 100,000 The Old Quarry Testing Station dungeon completions. Once reached, players can get their hands on the Vivisectionist’s Bone Saw.
According to rumors, there were horrific experiments being conducted in the Old Quarry. It was given more credence by the appearance of such grim tools. The miraculous blade that is the Vivisectionist’s Bone Saw is able to maintain its edge even after cutting through bone after bone like butter. There is no telling just how many cadavers this bone saw has dissected.
The Wind Pass
The second milestone is to complete 100,000 Wind Pass Landsraad missions. Once reached, players can obtain the Asteroid Harvester Maula Pistol.
The Yafeng Water Shipper family wrangles asteroids from space and brings them to their facility at Wind Pass. There they harvest water and rare minerals. To protect this very expensive investment, the Yafeng family arms their guards with the most practical of weapons.
Boosted Progression Weekend
As the event reaches its final phase, a Boosted Progression Weekend activates to reignite the push. What happens is that once the event starts, the Mnemonic Recollections of all players are replenished to the max cap of 35. In particular, during this period players can benefit from +100% Specialization XP and +50% General Character XP.
The Boosted Progression Weekend runs from May 29 to June 1.
