A new update has been released for Solo Leveling: ARISE. It introduces none other than the Monarch of Shadows.
The new update sees Sung Jinwoo taking on the form of the Monarch of Shadows. This Dark-element Successor has combat skills which builds on the distinct style of the existing Jinwoos. However, he adds a striking new dimension by transforming to perform combo attacks in synergy with his shadows. One of his skills is Mirage Blade, which is a strike delivered with a blade of death. Meanwhile, Sovereign Doom has him releasing the Breath of Destruction before condemning the enemy to an endless death.
A part of the Monarch of Shadow joining the roster, an event has been launched that lets any player obtain him simply by completing in-game missions. Players should be happy to know that since recruitment has no end date, it means they can add him to their roster at any time.
In addition, the update increases Sung Jinwoo’s level cap from 150 to 160 with players being able to experience the new Job which is "Monarch of Shadows: Vanquisher."
Other New Content
Aside from the Monarch of Shadows, the update also brings with it a new Fire-element Supporter in Jung Yerim. As an all-around supporter, she can increase the firepower of her team by providing shields and healing. She can also increase Fire element Overload damage, Burst damage, Attack Power, and Ultimate Move damage.
There's also a change with the Workshop of Brilliant Light as Baran, the Monarch of White Flames, steps in as the boss. Players can also now access the Hidden Chapters 11 and 12 in both Normal and Reverse Normal difficulties.
Solo Leveling:ARISE is an action game based on the hit webtoon, Solo Leveling. Players take on the role of Jinwoo and experience his journey across the beloved webtoon tale firsthand. They get to level up, take on dynamic battles, and create their own combat styles by selecting various combinations of skills and weapons. In addition to being able to team up with hunters from the webtoon, players can also summon their own "Army of Shadows" with the iconic phrase: "Arise."
Solo Leveling: ARISE is available on mobile platforms through iOS and Android. The Steam version is now titled Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE.
