The Nomads Arrive to Age of Wonders 4 with Rise from Ruin DLC

The latest DLC for Age of Wonders 4 is now available. The Rise from Ruin Culture Pack invites players to go on a journey into the Withered Worlds and explore their devastated landscapes.

The new DLC introduces a new culture to the game with the Nomads. They are masters of mobility not only on the battlefield but the world alike. That's because they can carry entire cities across the realm in their relentless pursuit of conquest and power. Nomads represent the scavengers of the magical wastes as well as conquering hordes. They look for locations of interest and rapidly extract exceptional value before leaving it barren and moving to a new location.

Here are some details of the Nomads culture:

• Nomads cities can be relocated by packing up and traveling to a new location to settle while maintaining all their upgrades and population.

• Nomad cities "Overharvest" nodes in their domain and thus destroy them while also gaining an "Essence" of that node in return.

• Nomads can quickly rearrange the provinces in their city with little friction and let them quickly reconfigure their cities to match their requirements.

New Form

One of the interesting additions of the new DLC are the Harefolk, one of the cataclysm’s quickest survivors. The thing is, they aren't soft or cute. Instead, the Harefolk are sharp-eared scavengers who managed to slip through the world’s collapse with speed, instinct, and a stubborn will to live. They now haunt the ruins, darting through broken Cities and outsmarting whatever still stalks the Withered Worlds.
