The Ossidon Makes its Way to ARK: Survival Ascended this November

Studio Wildcard announced that something colossal is arriving in ARK: Survival Ascended. Prepare to meet the Ossidon, which makes its presence felt beginning November 18. It temporarily spawns within cold biomes on Ragnarok, Valguero, and The Center.

It's part of the Lost Colony Expansion Pass. This means all pass holders get to face off against this elemental juggernaut from day one of its release.

The Ossidon is a monstrous primate that has turned frozen alchemy into power and adapted to survive a place where even Titans falter and where even the Reseed Protocol can not reach. It was once dismissed as a mutation gone wrong. Since then the towering beast has become a living symbol of raw endurance and elemental might. The Ossidon's dense fur shifts with the cold while its crest of bone and ice marks it as a creature forged in the harshest crucible imaginable.

The Ossidon is a force of frost and fury and ruled not by cunning but by an overwhelming will to dominate. However, amidst all the chaos, a strange bond can form between beast and rider. A surge of shared affinity that turns survival into symbiosis. There are even whispers that the Ossidon’s form can shift with its attributes and its power informing the twisted frame which contains it.

Dino TLC Pass

As of Saturday, October 18, it looks like the Giganotosaurus continues to lead the vote standings to be the first Dino TLC Pass. This is part of the Extra Life 2025 celebration. The event is a way for the community to unite and raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

For the upcoming Extra Life 2025 event, there won't be a 24-hour livestream. One of the reasons is that the development is still working to finish not only Valguero Ascended but also the Lost Colony. Still, they've assured everyone that they're "going all-in" when it comes to helping the kids. For this year, a Dino TLC pass is unlocked for each $30,000 raised. A total of four TLCs are planned once the $120,000 milestone is reached.
